TRAFFIC EXCHANGE TUTORIAL

This tutorial is designed to help you to get the most out of Traffic Trader. If you are new to Traffic Exchanges, then it will prove to be very valuable and help to get you off to a good start.
Signing up for a FREE Account: 1) The first step is to get yourself a FREE Traffic Trader account. 2) Sign up by entering your details and you're almost done. 3) The final step is to check your email inbox, for the confirmation email.
Confirming Your Email: 4) Open the confirmation email and make a note of your unique activation code, then click on the link to go to the 'First Login' screen. 5) You can now log in to your personal account, by going to the Traffic Trader home page and entering your user name (email) and password.
Adding Your Web Pages: 6) In your member's area, select 'MY WEBSITES' from the left menu, where you will be able to enter your web page details. 7) On the 'Add URL' page, you can enter the URL of your web page or pages.
Verifying Your Web Pages: 8) Give your web page a 'Title' and enter its URL. It should always start with http:// prefix. 9) Once you've added a URL, click the 'VERIFY WEBSITE' button, to ensure that your web page works correctly, with our system. 10) You can add a 'Category' for your website and after you have verified your site successfully, you can click 'Add Website'.
Surfing For Credits: 11) You are now ready to earn some credits and get your web page seen. 12) From the left menu, select 'SURF FOR CREDITS'. This will open the Surfing window.
Match the Symbols: 13) Click on the matching 'FLAG' symbols to earn credits and you will be presented with the web pages of other members. 14) Before clicking on the next symbol, you will need to wait until the timer reaches zero. If you click too early, you will not earn any credits. 15) Your 'Credits Total' is updated as you surf through other member's web pages.
Assigning Credits: 16) Once you have earned enough credits for this surfing session, you can either leave them to be auto-assigned or you can manually assign them. 17) From the left menu, click on the 'ASSIGN CREDITS' button.
Manually Assigning Credits: 18) Enter the amount of credits that you would like to assign to your web page and click 'Submit'. 19) Your web page will now be displayed in the Traffic Trader Rotator, receiving lots of quality hits. 20) Notice that on this page, you can also set the 'AUTO-ASSIGN' feature, as a percentage value. Your credits are assigned automatically as you surf - But make sure to save some, if you intend to assign credits to Banners and Text-Links.
Adding Banners: 21) Banners can be set up just as easily as your web page URLs. To set up your Banners, click on the 'MY BANNERS' button in the left menu and you will be taken to the 'Add Banners' page.
Setting Up Banners: 22) On this page, you will need to enter two pieces of information: The 'BANNER URL' (Location) of the banner and the 'TARGET URL' (Where the user is taken to). 23) The 'BANNER URL' should end with something like banner.gif and the 'TARGET URL' should look like a normal web address. Ensure that you start each URL with the http:// prefix. 24) You can also assign credits to your banners on this page.
Adding Text Links: 25) Text Links can be added just as easily as web pages and banners. 26) Click on the 'MY TEXT LINKS' button and you will be taken to the Text Links page.
Setting Up Text Links: 27) In the 'NAME' box, give your text link a suitable name and type a short description (what people will see). When your finished, click 'ADD TEXT LINK'. 28) Once again, you can check that your URL works correctly, by clicking on the 'Check Target URL' button. You can also assign credits to your text links from this page.
Buying Credits: 29) Even as a FREE member, you are still able to purchase bundles of credits. 30) From the left menu, select the 'BUY CREDITS' button and you will be taken to the 'Buy Credits' page.
Choosing Your Credit Bundle: 31) Choose the 'Credit' bundle that suits your budget and click the 'BUY NOW' button. You can then pay securely by PayPal. 32) When you return to your account, you will see that your 'Credit Balance', now shows your purchased credits. You can assign them as described earlier
Upgrading Your Membership: 33) The 'Upgrade Account' feature, gives you the opportunity to receive a monthly bundle of benefits. 34) From the left menu, click on the 'Upgrade' button and you will be taken to the upgrade page and you will see the benefits of upgrading.
Pro Account Benefits: 35) Please note that we are not inclined to offer 'bronze', 'Silver' and 'Gold' packages, as it is our bellief that if a member is willing to pay for a service, they should receive the BEST service available. 36) On this page, all you need to do is click 'Upgrade Now' and enter your details. Your monthly subscription will automatically be set up for you.
